To support high-bandwidth requirements and the deployment of high-speed 802.11ax/Wi-Fi 6 access points, it features multigigabit ports, 480G stacking, and modular 10/40G uplinks. With fast stack convergence and StackPower, the Catalyst 9300-M ensures resiliency, while Adaptive Policy enhances security by segmenting traffic into security groups using over-the-wire tags. By integrating with the Meraki dashboard, the Catalyst 9300-M offers a straightforward yet robust solution for even the most challenging wired access applications.

Adaptive Policy simplifies and scales network security by segmenting traffic into Security Groups. These groups are easily created within the dashboard using natural language labels like “IoT Device” and “Guest.” Security intent, such as "Permit" or "Deny," is effortlessly applied between groups, ensuring effective traffic segmentation. By replacing traditional IP-based Access Control Lists with intuitive management, Adaptive Policy enables operators to secure network traffic confidently, regardless of future network changes.

StackPower further enhances reliability by pooling and distributing power across Catalyst 9300-M switches via StackPower cables. This approach provides efficient and resilient power distribution throughout the stack.
